The Centennial Trail was developed in 1989 to mark the 100th anniversary of South Dakota's statehood. This 111 mile trail was created by the Forest Service, BLM, National Park Service, & the SD Game, Fish and Parks. This single track trail is multi use and represents the diversity of the South Dakota Black Hills.
